HMMPL Zionsville Location

Event Details

"Autism gave her a vision. She gave it a voice."

This is the tagline to the hit television movie Temple Grandin. Claire Danes stars (and won an Oscar for this role too!) in this glimpse of Temple Grandin's life and how she learned to make her way in the world with Autism.

Watch the movie at home and join the Library for an invigorating discussion of Temple's life, inventions, and more! Use this as an opportunity to educate yourself and your family for Autism Awareness Month (April). You can also use this program to get excited for Temple's virtual talk with our community on May 17th! This session is reserved for Teens and Adults only.

We will also be giving away a drawing prize to those in attendance. You could win your choice of a copy of the movie or one of Temple Grandin's books!

Once you  sign up, come to either the 1st or 2nd floor Reference desk to checkout a copy of the movie! A Zoom link will be sent to you via email on the day of the program.

*This movie is rated as PG or Not Rated, depending on the source. Below are links to movie reviews to judge if this is an appropriate viewing experience for yourself and/or your family.
