Grades 1+ with an adult. Parent AND child book-to-movie club. 

Chosen titles are children's books that have been made into movies. Parent and child read the book TOGETHER during the month prior to the book club meeting; the night of the meeting, we will have a short discussion, eat food (pitch-in style), watch the movie, and finish with a short discussion about how the movie compares to the author's original work. This month's book is appropriate for younger children; most months will be geared for grades 3+.

This month’s movie is Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, made after the book with the same title by Bernard Waber.

Copies of a limited number of the books will be available for checkout at the Youth Reference desk beginning on December 15. Staff can also place holds on the books you need.
