AARP is offering free tax help to patrons with low to moderate income, special attention to those 60 and older. LIMITED SPACE, REGISTRATION REQUIRED, YOU MUST HAVE A RESERVATION. Those filing joint returns should only make one reservation; couples filing separately are asked to reserve different slots. Appointments can be made for any Thurs. starting Feb. 7 and ending on Apr. 11. Sessions are from either 10 AM – 12 PM or 12 – 2 PM. Contact the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library at (317) 873-3149 for registration, or register via our Web site. In order to receive tax assistance, you must have the following: photo ID, Social Security Card, all statements regarding income (examples: W2, SSA, 1099), and a copy of last year's returns.
