Join the Youth Services librarians each evening as we read Hugh Lofting's The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle. Travel with us to the world of 9-and-a-half-year-old Tommy Stubbins, who shares his extraordinary journey with the doctor and some amazing animals as they set sail on an incredible adventure. A new movie version of this classic story, which won the Newbery Medal in 1923, was released earlier this year. A new chapter, read by a different librarian each night, will be available on the HMMPL Read Aloud Playlist at 6:00pm, beginning June 5th. After each installment, a secret code will be shared each evening that you can enter through Beanstack for an activity point in our summer reading program!
