Sign up to use the room now!
You can work on a project or test out the equipment with simple sample projects for FREE.
Check out the MakerStudio today and work on a project with a new to you"machine! Staff will be a "guide on the side" learning together. We will assist you in advancing from beginner skills to more technical skills in this makerspace.
What you need to know:
- Library card number required
- New User Orientation required (Request online Orientation here)
- What grade are you entering in the fall? If adult, select "Adult."
- This space is an attended space and must have a staff member present for any use.
- Sign up for use of the room for up to 2 1/2 hour session. All equipment will be available to you but we ask that you indicate what you plan to use.
- Staff availably will be posted on our calendar MONTHLY for you to sign up. Special appointments can be made by contacting makerstudio@hmmpl.org
- Patrons aged 13 and under may use the MakerStudio if supervised by a parent or guardian (who has completed the orientation) at all times.
- Fees for materials will be charged. These fees are subject to change. Please consult the fee schedule on our website for current rates.
- *No fees for workshops and training sessions.
- Patrons must have a valid HMMPL library card to use the MakerStudio.
- Patrons must receive mandatory safety and training certification before use of each tool or equipment.
- Because of the high COVID numbers in our area we ask that you wear a mask.
